Wishing all of our Carusi Families Peace and Joy
As the holiday season approaches, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and partnership throughout the year. The warmth and spirit of our Carusi community make this an extraordinary place to learn and grow together.
We wish you and your loved ones peace, joy, and cherished moments during this holiday season. May your winter break be a time of rest and relaxation, filled with laughter, love, and everything that brings you happiness.
As we look ahead to the new year, we’re excited to continue working together to inspire and support our students in achieving their best. Here’s to a bright and promising 2025!

Winter Sports
From Mr. D'Alessandro, Carusi Athletic Director
Next week will be the start of our winter sports season. Students wishing to stay and watch home basketball games must be in the gym by 3:15. If you arrive after 3:15 or return from outside of the building without a parent, you will be refused entrance.
All student spectators not accompanied by a parent must leave at 4:25 and take the late bus or wait for their ride in the gym lobby. Any student spectator not picked up by 5pm will be banned from staying again this winter. No student spectators are allowed at wrestling matches in the cafeteria. We will have two matches in the gym on January 7, 2025 and January 14, 2025 that will allow student spectators. Thanks for your support of Carusi Sports!

Transportation
Your child should be at the bus stop at least 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time. When notified in advance, the Transportation Department will attempt to send an automated message for individual route delays of 20 minutes or more. School buses are scheduled to depart approximately 10-15 minutes after the end bell time. Please allow for some fluctuation in pick-up and drop-off times, particularly during the first three weeks of school as students become familiar with boarding the buses and Drivers at the Middle, Elementary, and Preschools work to secure seating charts.
Throughout the school year, daily pick-up and drop-off times may fluctuate due to weather, traffic, construction, etc. We thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions, please contact the Transportation Department at 856-489-5851. For late bus runs at the Middle and High School, please contact the appropriate transportation contractor for Late Route inquiries. (West, Beck, and Rosa are Hillman’s 856-753-1123/East and Carusi are First Student (Berlin) 856-753-0222)
