We are excited that members of our WHS Fightin’ Roo Band, Blue Belles, cheer, and football team will have the opportunity to play/perform at AT&T Stadium – the home of the Dallas Cowboys – and invite you to be a part of this experience!

Our Weatherford Kangaroos will play Arlington Sam Houston on Friday, October 23 at 5:30 pm in this world-renowned venue. Approximately 500 Weatherford High School students will be a part of this game.

In an effort to support these students and their sponsors, the following schedule changes will apply for Friday, October 23.

 Weatherford High School and the Ninth Grade Center will have early dismissal at 2:30 pm on Friday, October 23.

 Bus schedules for the NGC and WHS will run according to a normal school day schedule.

 6th grade band will be cancelled and students will remain at their elementary campus.

 All other Weatherford ISD schools and departments will be on a normal school/work day.

Do you have any old or unused cellphones around your house? If you do, Outreach Club is having a cell-phone drive for soldiers both active duty and veterans so they can stay in touch with their families. There will be drop off boxes to collect these in classroom F111; the front office; and the PASS office (across from the Counselors' office). We need your old cell phones to be donated to help keep these soldiers in touch.

Join the Lady Roo volleyball program in their support of PINK OUT 2015 by ordering your t-shirt or hoodie! All proceeds from the sale of these shirts will be donated to the Parker County Health Foundation and will be designated for mammogram services in Parker County.

The volleyball team is taking t-shirt orders which are due this Tuesday.

The order form is on WISD'S website here: http://www.weatherfordisd.com/apps/news/article/501202

Delivery will be next week.

The Pink Out football game is Oct. 30th and we would love for everyone to have a t-shirt to support the cause.
