7th Grade Updates - 10/25/26
Week of October 25, 2026
A Note from the Dean
With only three days left in the quarter, now is the time to check your grades, wrap up any missing assignments, and reach out to your teachers. If you have questions or concerns about an assignment or your overall grade, please send your teacher an email today.
Reminders about Tardies to School
We have noticed a growing trend of students arriving late to school, often due to morning stops at local restaurants like McDonald's. Arriving 30 to 60 minutes late significantly impacts your child’s learning, as they miss critical instruction during their first-block class and quickly fall behind.
Please help us support your student’s success by encouraging a punctual morning routine. Our school doors open at 8:30 AM, and instruction begins promptly at 8:50 AM.
Thank you as always for your continued partnership and support in setting our students up for a successful day!
Upcoming Field Trip: Volunteers Needed!
We are heading to the National Museum of the United States Army at Fort Belvoir on December 17th from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM!
We are actively seeking parent chaperones to join us. If you are interested, please complete the volunteer application form and return it to the school. If you prefer a paper copy, please email me directly and I will send one home with your student.
Thank you for your continued support! I am looking forward to another wonderful week ahead. As always, please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
- Ms. Allo, 7th Grade Dean
