Celebrate Notre Dame
Last Saturday, we hosted over 600 alumnae and friends of Notre Dame for our Celebration. File the event under "Bittersweet"! It was a joyous reunion tinged with sadness. But it was our sendoff gift. We wanted to give our alumnae and supporters a chance to see the school when it was looking great and a chance to get together and swap stories. We also wanted to give out memorabilia (yearbooks, photo albums, banners, trophies, swag, and much more) to those who value it.
More than anything, we wanted to give ourselves a chance to admire our beautiful sunset. There is something magical but fleeting about a sunset. It captures our full attention but then it is gone. And so will we be. We are wonderful, we are beautiful, but our day is coming to an end.
Thank you to our indefatigable alumnae workers Connie Rossi Rains (1968) and Marisol Menchaca (2016) for all their hard work putting together the event. We couldn't have done it without you.
Go Spirits!

Alumnae News
Good food, great music, memorable swag, and the joy of reconnecting with one another made our “Celebrate Notre Dame” event truly unforgettable. More than 650 guests — some traveling from nearby communities and others from across the country and globe — gathered on Saturday to honor and celebrate our beloved Notre Dame High School.
The day began in the theatre with heartfelt welcomes from Principal Dr. Timothy Uhl and alumna Catherine Mifsud Heller, setting the tone for an afternoon filled with gratitude, laughter, and cherished mremories. From there, guests wandered the campus, reminiscing about their days at Notre Dame as classrooms stood open and conversations flowed as easily as the stories being shared. Four food stations offered delicious bites throughout the afternoon, creating spaces for old friends to reconnect and new memories to be made.
This beautiful celebration would not have been possible without the dedication of our staff, families, and students whose hard work brought the event to life. Most especially, thank you to every guest who attended and made the day so meaningful. Seeing alumnae from every decade represented was a powerful reminder that while buildings may close, the spirit and sisterhood of Notre Dame remain as strong as ever.
And a special shoutout goes to the Class of ’87 for earning top honors for both attendance and enthusiasm — without question, the most spirited group of the day! (Picture below)
