Last Three Weeks of the Semester!
Now is the time to start planning out the last four weeks of the semester! Teachers in all classes will be reviewing key dates with their students this week, including dates for tests, quizzes, and projects as well as information about final exams. Students will have access to this PDF that can be edited within Notability for all of their classes. The organizer contains information about the final exam schedule, transportation changes, extended library hours, study tips, and more!
Information about Rescheduling Final Exams
Only students who have three final exams in one day may request to reschedule one of the exams. To change a final exam, students must see their administrator for the proper form. Students must have it signed by their teacher, and return it to the intervention office by Wednesday, December 13.
Requests submitted based on convenience or vacation conflicts will not be accommodated. These exams will be placed in test make-up to be taken at a later date. Students looking to make up final exams over winter break must schedule a time with their administrator.
Tuesday, December 5 - Interested in Being a VAMP Mentor?
Interested in becoming a VAMP mentor for the Fall of 2024? Stop by the VAMP mentor informational meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, December 5 during all lunch periods in Room 164! The meeting will be around 10 minutes at the start of 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th.
Wednesday, December 6 - Teacher Notes with Educators Rising
Students, come to the Viking Rug on Wednesday, December 6th during your lunch period to write a special note to a teacher. Educators Rising will attach a fun CANDY CANE pen to the note and deliver them before winter break.
Friday, December 8 and Saturday, December 9 - One Act Performances
Join us for the student-written One Act Performances this Friday and Saturday at 7:00 PM! Tickets can be purchased online at https://fremd.booktix.net/.
Saturday, December 9 - Booster Craft Fair this weekend!
Please join us for the Booster Craft Fair this Saturday, December 9. The craft fair opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 4:00 PM. Please note the parking is often congested, and overflow parking is available at Hunting Ridge Elementary. A shuttle bus is available from Hunting Ridge to FHS.
Admission and parking are FREE.
The Boosters are still looking for volunteers, both students and adults. Please see the different volunteer opportunities below:
- STUDENT VOLUNTEERS
- ADULT VOLUNTEERS - SIGN POSTING (Wednesday, December 6)
- ADULT VOLUNTEERS - FRIDAY PREP AND DAY-OF SUPPORT
For our athletic teams that are departing from FHS in the morning - Please have a parent drop off and pick up rather than leaving cars in the lot all day, if possible. Team buses will be picking up in the front using the bus lane. All parking lots will be very full all day, and it would be helpful to clear out any cars as much as possible. We very much appreciate your help with this.
