Wiggin Street Parent Update

Families,

This has been a great week with some fun field trips for students. The Little Mermaid will be at the Knox Memorial Theater tonight through Sunday. Teachers and students gave glowing reviews and as mentioned below, some of our former students were in the cast.

Thank you to Mrs. Biggerstaff for organizing a fun event for some of our 3rd-5th grade students in collaboration with the Gund Gallery. More information and a video can be found below.

Don't forget to order your Mumkins and Mumsters! We have 4 more days to order some fun fall decorations for your porch.

Lastly, as the weather changes, our Lost and Found grows. Check out pictures in this update to see if your child needs to be reminded to bring something home. Thanks for your help with this.

We wish you a wonderful weekend!

All the best,

Christy Grandstaff

A select number of 3rd-5th grade students had the opportunity to travel this week to the The Annex (The Gund's downtown satellite space for arts programming) to make paper flowers together. They will untimately be hung in the Gund's gallery lobby. We appreciate Wynne Morgan reaching out to collaborate with our students and Mrs. Biggerstaff for organizing and accompanying our students. Check out the video below created by Mrs. Biggerstaff!

Wiggin Street Alumni were part of the cast of characters including the following:

Karma Carpenter

Faith Major

Naomi McFarlane

Jane Camillus

Eleanor Cramer

Zach Cramer

The Fall Mumkin and Mumsters Sale is up and running! Parents should check their email for their students unique shopping link to send to friends and family. All sales will be done online through September 17th, and Mums will be delivered Thursday, October 1st.

Mrs. Kramp's class and Mr. Zarley's class got together to share a good book!

"I'm excited to be partnering with Art to Remember this year. Students are beginning to work on projects in Art class that I will be sending to Art to Remember soon. Closer to the end of October parent order forms and information will be coming home and orders can be placed in early November for items that you may want to purchase for your family or family members and friends. The items will arrive before Christmas break to ensure that you will have them to give as gifts if you would like. There is no obligation or pressure to participate but instead, I hope that you find that this is a wonderful opportunity to capture your child's artwork to cherish for years to come! More information to come soon! ~Mrs. Biggerstaff"
