Dear Glenn Families,
We have successfully closed out the 1st nine weeks of the school year! After week 6 we saw an increase in attendance and are beginning to see an increase in student achievement data. We know that when students are in school they are learning at high levels. We began our Attendance Gift Card giveaway last Friday and will continue to award one per week to a lucky Astronaut with Perfect Attendance for the week.
Last Friday we celebrated our FIRST IN PERSON gathering of students and families for our October PTA Meeting and 2nd / 3rd / Choir Performance and we had an INCREDIBLE turn out. It was wonderful seeing us back together again to celebrate our students as the holiday season is quickly approaching. Our Trunk or Treat Fundraiser was also a success and we absolutely loved seeing the smiling faces of our Astronauts and families to kick off the weekend!
Please join us on Thursday, November 4th for STEM Night from 4:30 - 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. We will have some great hands on activities and fun for the whole family! We will make slime, code a robot, launch rockets and much, much more!
We look forward to an eventful month of November with a Veteran's Day Celebration on November 11th and a Parent Cafecito on the 17th. Please see times below and complete this Google Form ---> (Glenn Veterans Day Celebration) if you are a Veteran or are planning to attend our Veteran's Day event.
Thank you ALL for being such a huge part of your child's education, our partnership is truly a BLESSING!
