NSCAS Reports
Results from the Nebraska Student-Centered Assessment System English Language Arts (NSCAS-ELA), Math (NSCAS-M) and Science (NSCAS-S) tests taken last April were sent home with fourth and fifth grade students on Thursday (10/1). Parents, please review these important assessment results with your child and help them set goals for this year's assessments.
Moments That Matter
Omaha Public Schools proudly celebrates our staff through the "Moments That Matter" employee recognition program. Students, staff and families are encouraged to nominate staff members to acknowledge their excellent work. To nominate a Masters staff member, please go to nomination link. Each week, one staff member will be selected and celebrated as our Moments That Matters winner! The weekly recipient will also receive a special prize or gift card, generously provided by our wonderful community partners.
Halloween
The annual Halloween Parade will be held on Friday, October 30th at 2:45 p.m. Mrs. Quandt’s kindergarten class will lead the parade by grade level. The parade will start at the front doors and then travel north down the sidewalk to Ellison Street and then turn back south on 97th Street to return and circle the school blacktop for an all student viewing. In the event of inclement weather, students will parade through the hallways and end in the gym where parents and friends may view the parade. Room parties will follow the parade.
