Little Free Library
βοΈπ A Little Library with a BIG Impact at Royall Elementary!
Royall is excited to welcome a bright blue Little Free Library, located near the big oak tree at our car line entrance! The library was installed by Sims Bratton, a former Royall student and current 9th grader at West Florence High School, as part of his Eagle Scout Project. Sims was also joined by several other former Royall students who helped bring this special project to life!
We loved welcoming Sims back to Royall, where he joined our Royall Morning News Show to share more about his project. We are so grateful he chose to give back to the school community that helped shape him!
π Want to help? Gently used book donations are welcome! Simply drop them off at the front office. Our 5th graders will also have opportunities to help manage and organize the library.
Thank you, Sims, and all of the former Royall students who helped make this project possible! What a wonderful way to encourage reading and give back to our Royall family and surrounding community. We can't wait to see this little library make a BIG impact! βοΈππ

Read-A-Thon Fundraiser: Principal for the Day: Top Earner
βοΈπ Principal for the Day: Cassady McCormick!
We had a very special day at Royall Elementary as Cassady McCormick, a second grader in Mrs. Rileyβs class, stepped into the role of Principal for the Day! Cassady earned this exciting opportunity by being our top Read-A-Thon fundraiser for the second year in a row! What an accomplishment!
Cassady had a busy day experiencing many aspects of school leadership! She helped lead our Read-A-Thon dance party celebrations, joined in on the fun as Mr. Rogers took pies to the face, visited classrooms to observe learning, appeared on the Royall Morning News Show, and got a firsthand look at the many responsibilities involved in keeping our school running smoothly.
We loved having Cassady take on this special role and experience a day in the life of a principal! Congratulations, Cassady, on another outstanding Read-A-Thon accomplishment! βοΈπ

π₯§π Mr. Rogers was a great sport today as he took multiple pies to the face as part of our Read-A-Thon fundraiser incentive! One lucky student from each grade level had the opportunity to throw a pie, along with our Principal for the Day, making the fun even more special! Students who qualified through their fundraising efforts enjoyed watching the excitement and celebrating their hard work. What a memorable and FUN way to celebrate the success of our Read-A-Thon! πβοΈ
