Daniel Feeney Preschool Update
October 13, 2023
Greetings Feeney Families and Friends
We learned about fire safety this week with Firefighter Jax and we look forward to learning more next week with Firefighter Patrick. The kids learned about how to stay safe and learned how firefighters keep themselves safe in a fire. Our thematic play and vocabulary centered around fall: leaves, pumpkins, rakes, cornstalks, and more. In our classrooms we introduced the letter A as we begin Fundations - just a few things that took place during the week.
I hope you enjoy this beautiful fall New England weather, see you on Monday.
Warm regards,
Julie
If you know someone who is interested in DFP for the 2024-25 school year
We are offering tours of the preschool to interested families on the following dates:
October 19, November 1, and November 7 all at 5:30.
If you know someone who is interested, invite them to contact me directly for more information.
Thank you!
Holidays, Customs, and Traditions in your Family
We encourage you to share your family's traditions, customs, and culture with us so we can celebrate those in our classrooms! We celebrate Diwali on November 4th as well as many other holidays and traditions.
Conference Time
It is nearing time for our Educator/Caregiver conferences. If you have not already signed up, please remember to do so! We look forward to seeing you then.
Save the Date! A PAC Event in November
Our Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is planning a grown up night's out on Friday, November 17 at 6 pm. While details are still being worked on, this is a great opportunity to get out and meet some other DFP parents and caregivers and raise some money for the preschool at the same time. It will be in the function room of Napper Tandy's (downstairs) and there will be a 50/50 raffle. Get your babysitter now and join us for a fun night out! There will be more details to come.
Tuition is due the first of each month
