The Weekly CHESCougar ConnectionWeek of October 28th, 2024

"The First Quarter is ENDING...." "The First Quarter is ENDING...."

Dearest CHES Families,

This week ends our first marking period for the school year. Can you believe it? WOW! We have had our first field trip and now we are ending the quarter!

This week will be a busy week and we hope that you are taking the time to stay informed. Please make note of events occurring this week and we hope that if you are available, you will come o the school and join us! Our Annual Character Day parade and Trunk or Treat is a wonderful event! Also, this year our PTSA has a special Fall Festival (see items below). We want to see you here!

Please keep the following in mind as this is the last week of the marking period:

  • Friday is a 3 hour early dismissal as it is a grading day for teachers. School ends at 12.30pm.
  • As per Administrative Grading Procedures, make up work will not be accepted the last week of marking periods.
  • Be sure you have a ParentVue account as a report card will not be mailed home.

Thank you as always for your support and we wish you a wonderful week -- the last week of October !

Until next week...

We are CHES and our cougars climb to new heights! 🐾

Chessie Needs to be Fed!

Our Character Day Parade and Trunk or Treat is fast approaching. Please consider donating candy if you haven't already! Students can bring in the bags of candy and place them into CHESSIE! We thank you for your donations.

PLEASE NOTE...

  • Please try to avoid candy with peanuts and other kinds of nuts in them
  • Our goal is to have each student (actually the parent!) to donate at least one bag each
  • Remind students to feed Chessie as they enter the school first thing in the morning.

As always, we thank all of our CHES Families and Community for your donations and support!!
