Good Morning Memorial Families,
Today is field day at Memorial! It is going to be a beautiful day and thanks to our many parent volunteers and our dedicated PTO, we have many fun stations and activities planned for all of our students. Perhaps the highlight of the day is the addition of a dunk tank. Throughout the day, students will have an opportunity to submerge the Memorial staff. It should be a fun time for all!
Our third graders are traveling to Old Sturbridge Village this Thursday after being rained out two weeks ago. Thankfully, Thursday's weather looks positive- though maybe a little warm. Third grade families should note that your children should try to wear fun run shirts on both Monday and Thursday this week.
And finally, this Friday is our second Inspired Learning Day of the year. Our students absolutely love this day as it provides them with an opportunity to dig into learning that is meaningful to them, and participate in something of interest. Be sure to ask your child what their favorite part of the day was when they arrive home on Friday afternoon!
Have a great week!
Warmly,
Wendy
