π¦ November: A Time for Gratitude at NAE! π
Dear Astro Families,
November is here, and the school year is flying by! As the season changes and the days grow shorter, it gives us a wonderful opportunity to pause and reflect on everything we are thankful for.
Here at Neil Armstrong Elementary, we have so much to appreciate: our dedicated staff, energetic students, supportive parents, and incredible school community!
ποΈ Honoring Our Veterans
On Wednesday, November 11th, we take a special moment to honor and thank our Veterans. We extend our deepest gratitude to all members of our NAE familyβparents, guardians, staff, and loved onesβwho have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. Your courage, service, and sacrifice protect our freedom, and we are profoundly grateful for everything you do.
π Thankful Thursdays: Celebrating Our Staff
To help us celebrate our wonderful teachers and staff and show them how much they are valued, we invite you and your family to participate in Thankful Thursdays throughout the month of November!
How to participate: Send a quick note or a ParentSquare message to any staff member to acknowledge their hard work, dedication, and impact on your child.
Thank you for helping us make November a month of gratitude and for being such an essential part of a school community that honors those who serve!
Go Astros! π
Proud to Lead,
Ms. Pulliam and Dr. Thomas
