"TRIGGER" SCREENING AND PANEL DISCUSSION "TRIGGER" SCREENING AND PANEL DISCUSSION

On January 23, we will host a screening of the documentary Trigger, followed by a panel discussion presented by First Person Arts.

A father who lost his son, a trauma nurse at a city hospital, a high school principal, community activists, doctors, scholars, shooters, victims and their families all share their stories revealing layers of hurt that extend beyond the individual, family and first responders to entire communities in need of healing. And yet they each search for hope with a vengeance. These storytellers are committed to using their horrific experiences to help others. For some, resilience and hope are key elements of survival. Trigger is both a call to understanding and a call to action. Each of us has a role to play in combating this gun violence epidemic.

We look forward to the conversation around this important issue with our students.

A PUZZLING ADDITION A PUZZLING ADDITION

We're excited to introduce a new addition to the library: our Jigsaw Puzzle Table! Perfect for students looking to unwind or engage in a fun, collaborative activity, the table provides a space where you can work together to piece together beautiful puzzles. Whether you’re a puzzle pro or just want to try something new, this table offers a relaxing break from the classroom, while also promoting teamwork and problem-solving skills.
