Dear TRE Family,

Thank you to all of the families who came to Trunk or Treat on Friday night. We had a wonderful evening of family fun at TRE. Thank you to our PTA, especially our event lead Ashley Tapia, for all their work putting on Trunk or Treat. Also, thank you to all of the families and staff who decorated their trunk for the event. Each trunk was incredibly creative and fun. You all made the judging difficult for sure.

As a reminder, Friday, October 31st is a Staff Professional Development Day and we have NO SCHOOL. We will have our Book Character Parade at 8:30 AM on Thursday, October 30th. Parents are welcome to join along our parade pathway. Please see details below.

This week is Red Ribbon Week. Please review the dress up day details below and join us in encouraging of a drug free TRE.

We also have Dino Dash quickly approaching on Sunday, Nov 2nd. It's not too late to sign up to walk/run at Dino Dash. For every sign-up, TRE gets $10 back to support purchases for our classrooms. For those joining in the Family 2K, please review the details below for our meet-up time and location on Sunday. See you there!

TK Conference Week will be Oct 24 & Oct 27-30. TK will be on an early-release minimum day bell schedule on these dates. If you have any questions about TK conferences, please reach out directly to your child's teacher. We look forward to connecting with our TRE families in support of our Cool Coyotes.

Oct 24 and Oct 27-30: TK Conference Week (Minimum Day EVERY day only TK)

The annual Book Character Parade will begin at 8:30 AM. Parents will be allowed on campus beginning at 8:20 through the front green gates. There will be sign-in tables and visitor badges by the gates.

A visual map with parent viewing areas along the parade route will be sent out via Parent Square prior to Thursday's parade with additional reminders. Be on the look out.

We will start the parade with our TK/K classrooms and weave from one classroom to the next until we make our way from the 200s to the 300s to the 400s. We know there will be lots of pictures taken of our adorable cool coyotes. Please only post pictures on social media of your own child. Not all families have provided a photo release. Thank you!
