We miss our students!

Dear Pangborn Families,

It's been a sad few weeks for our staff as we miss our students dearly and have been thinking about them constantly. We hope that you and your family are staying safe and healthy, and that you have found time to relax and bond together during these unusual times.

Our teachers are hard at work this week preparing for distance learning. We encourage you to make time to work with your child everyday. We also encourage you to read with and to you child as much as you possibly can!

Our school will keep you updated throughout this shut down. Please let us know if you need anything or have any questions.

The packets will be located on a distribution table that will be set up in the bus loop area near where bagged lunches are being served on a daily basis.

Additional and supplemental material will be sent from classroom teachers as well using Google Classroom. These teachers will update you with more specific information. Any device (phone, iPad, computer, etc.) that you have at home will work to view the information and material.

Students in 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade:

Wireless Internet

We understand that wireless internet is necessary to download assignments and access the Digital Learning platform. Families that do not have wireless internet in their homes may drive and/or walk to Pangborn Elementary School's property in order to quickly use our signal (wcps guest, no password) for downloading purposes only on an as needed basis.

In the coming days, signs will be posted on our school campus as to where wireless access points are strongest. If it is necessary for your family to utilize this service, please do not allow children to use the playground, be sure to maintain social distancing expectations of at least six feet from other people/cars, and do not congregate in one location.

Happy Learning!
