Last week, Mr. Duncan's IB Geography class traveled to Edisto to measure erosion.
Culinary Student Feature
AC Flora student Jaydin Jefferson was featured in the most recent Richland One CTE newsletter for her contributions to her Heyward Culinary Arts class. Here's an excerpt from the piece: "One of our culinary arts students has consistently demonstrated her passion for cooking and her dedication to learning new skills. She works seamlessly alongside her peers and teacher, supported by her ASL interpreter, Mr. Tray Noble. Her peers and teacher actively engage with her using visual cues, written instructions, and direct communication through her interpreter." See photo.
Treats, no Tricks! On Thursday, October 30, the PTSO will provide trick or treating for our students, teachers, and staff during lunch. For any volunteers, please deliver individually wrapped candy to the front office by Tuesday, October 28.
