It was spirit week at Northeast, and it all kicked off with a Cowboy theme on Wednesday. Let's tip our hats to these amazing folks who are roaming the range and keeping our students safe and successful.

The Student Council, cheerleaders, and Raider fans got everyone psyched up for Homecoming with face painting and locker room decorations. We love the school spirit!

There was so much great entertainment at the Homecoming pep rally. We had band performances with the dance team and cheerleaders. There were guest dancers, the announcements of the Homecoming Court nominees, and a dodgeball competition between students and staff. Great job from our Student Council and everyone involved in the program. It was such a memorable day!

We were very fortunate to have Mr. Macias continue his career with the Raiders. With other 36 years in education and 26 years as a Principal, we look forward to learning from him. Mr. Macias is married with 3 grown children, has been in Austin for 25 years, and he is fluent in Spanish. We are very excited to have Mr. Macias at Northeast.

The College Fair brought out many great school to the Northeast campus. We loved seeing all the students coming to check out their options for their future.

Literally. They are applying to colleges in class and getting the support they need to create terrific application packets. We are hoping for some great news in the near future!

We are very proud that 9 Northeast Students participated in the All-City Orchestra Performance at the AISD Performing Arts Center. This is such an honor and a huge accomplishment. Great work!

Austin Achieve did not achieve a their goal, as the Raiders pulverized the Polar Bears 40-6. It was the perfect ending to a great Homecoming week! Keep up the great work, Raiders. We are proud of you!

The Volleyball teams have had some incredible nail-biters the last two weeks against teams like LBJ and Eastside. Special shout out to the Raider JV team who beat Eastside in an intense match on 10/3. Great job, girls!
