25-27 NO SCHOOL Thanksgiving Break

Dear Loveland Families,

We wanted to let you know that during the upcoming midterm election, Loveland Swing School will serve as a polling location for our surrounding community.

To ensure the safety of our students and keep them separated from the polling area, we will have a few adjustments to our normal school day procedures.

• Polling Location: Voting will take place in our gymnasium.

• PE Classes: Physical education classes will be moved to classrooms or outdoors, weather permitting.

• Lunch: Students will eat lunch in their classrooms to keep them separated from the polling area.

• Additional Supervision: We will have additional staff on-site throughout the day to help monitor the building and ensure student safety.

•

Student safety remains our top priority, and we are taking these extra steps to ensure a safe and productive school day while our building serves the community.

We wanted to communicate these changes ahead of time so families are aware of the adjustments.

Dear Loveland Families and Friends~

We are excited to celebrate Halloween with our Loveland students and families!

We would love to invite all of our Loveland families to join us for our Halloween Costume Parade at the Swing School!

Our parade will begin at approximately 2:00 PM, with all students taking one lap around the track on our playground to show off their fun and creative costumes! Families are welcome to come watch, cheer, and enjoy this special Halloween tradition with us!

We can't wait to see all the amazing costumes and celebrate a little Halloween fun together!

We love having our families involved at Loveland! If you are interested in volunteering at school, on a field trip, or with other school activities, please make sure you have completed the required WCS volunteer paperwork.

You can find all volunteer information and paperwork on the Westside website. Simply click “For Families” and then select “Volunteer with WCS.”

Volunteer with WCS

Please note: Nothing has changed with the volunteer procedure. This webpage is simply a helpful way to make sure families understand the steps involved and the ways Westside works to keep our students and school community safe.

Thank you for giving your time and talents to our Loveland students and staff! We appreciate our volunteers!

We want to ensure families and students know the rules, to ensure the safety of all involved. While we welcome all students at our Westside High Football Games,

• All elementary students attending the game will need to attend the game with a parent and sit with a parent.

• No footballs or other balls are allowed in the stadium.

Students who do not follow these rules will be asked to leave. Thank you for your help to make sure our game atmosphere is positive for all who attend!

Halloween is just around the corner, and we know students are excited about their costumes! For our school parade and party, please remember to wear only fun and friendly costumes that are appropriate for school. We can’t wait to celebrate safely and have a spook-tacular time together!

A huge THANK YOU to Audrey Dobbe and our amazing Loveland Community Club (LCC) for providing meals for our teachers during Parent-Teacher Conferences!

Your kindness and generosity mean so much to our staff. Conference days can be long, and having a delicious meal ready for our teachers is such a thoughtful way to show your appreciation.

We are so lucky to have such a supportive Loveland community! Thank you, Audrey and LCC, for always taking such great care of our staff!
