Corron Mission Statement
From the Principal
Students will be working over the next few weeks to set goals for academics as well as for learner behaviors. Involving students in their own goal setting and conferences is a powerful way to give them ownership over their own learning. Having them as part of conferences is also a great way to demonstrate for them that their teacher and parents work together as a team to help them achieve success at school.
Our Fall conference days are some of the most positive days of our school year as educators. Please take the opportunity to sign up for a time for your child’s conference. Pick-a-Time opens on Friday, September 26th and will close on Monday, October 6th. If you are unable to attend during our two conference days, your child will be able to bring their goal setting home with them so you can have a conversation with them at home.
Unfortunately, teachers will not be able to set aside different days for conferences.

Toys & Fidgets at School
As we settle into the school year, we want to remind everyone that personal toys, trinkets, and fidgets should be kept at home. These items often cause distractions in the classroom and can get lost or broken. If a fidget is needed for learning, it will be provided by the school.Thank you for supporting a focused and positive learning environment for all students.
Pick-A-Time Conference opens up on Sept. 26th
Please see attachment for scheduling Parent/Teacher Conferences on October 9th & 10th.
Conference Information for Specials Teachers

Volunteer for the Bookfair!
We are looking for help with this year's bookfair! If you are interested and available, please sign up for a time. We need volunteers to help set-up the bookfair, help classes preview the books available, help families purchase their books, and help clean it all up at the end of the week. We appreciate any support you can give! Please email the LRC director, Ms. Skoglund (christine.skoglund@d303.org) if you have any questions.
