The Buzz

Davis Elementary School

Welcome!

We are eager to start a new year with our Yellow Jackets! Your child is special to Davis. Our staff will know them by name and take care of them as if they were our own. We want you to be a part of their education so we will be inviting you in for many different reasons: PTO events, parent meetings, reward events, and opportunities to see our instructional tools. Please know that you can reach out to me anytime at charitybarton@dadecs.org or 706.657.6300. We look forward to meeting you all at Open House on Wednesday, August 3rd 3:00-5:30! Mrs. Barton, Principal

Car Rider Procedures

Morning drop-off is in the front circle. Mrs. Barton (Principal) and Mrs. Howard (Academic Coach) will open car doors and assist students into the building.

Afternoon cars will enter from Davis School Road and wrap around the backside of the gym. Teachers will call student names and then load cars several at a time. Be prepared for delays the first week of school as we learn parents' vehicles. You can pick up a car tag in the front office at open house.

Free Meal Waivers Have Expired

Students must once again pay for breakfast and lunch due to the lack of USDA federal grants and waivers. This means that it is essential that everyone completes the blue school lunch forms that will come home in your student's first day packet.
