MTSS Lead Weekly Updates
Week of 10/19/26
iReady
iReady BOY
The iReady BOY sessions took place in MSCS on 10/1 and 10/8. If you missed one of the session offerings, you are encouraged to review the recording and reference the MSCS Leader Success Guide. This information has been made available for MTSS Leads and Principals in the On Target for Success SharePoint iReady folder.
Personalized Instruction
Personalized Instruction should be monitored by classroom teachers each week. If a student's domain has been turned off, the teacher should be expected to meet with the student individually or in small group to support the student with misconceptions before turning the domain back on. Domains should not remain turned off as this does limit access.
Reflection questions: Why are students not engaging in iReady Personalized Instruction at all? Why are students spending more than 60 minutes of time each week on iReady Personalized Instruction? What steps can I take to help teachers find balance on spending 30-49 minutes a week on iReady Personalized Instruction?
Take AIM using the steps outlined in the MSCS Leader Success Guide which is in the On Target for Success SharePoint iReady Folder.

Upcoming Reading Horizons Discovery and Elevate Trainings
Monitoring Lesson Progression
We are monitoring lesson progression. Please ensure that you are completing the skill checks following the lessons. Remember that you should be providing approximately 2 lessons per week along with these skill checks.

Progress Monitoring
Please ensure that you have current progress monitoring data points for students who have Tier 2/3 intervention plans. As a reminder fall break does not count as a week we would expect progress monitoring to occur. PowerBi does not count this towards compliance. Also, PowerBi continues to have data quality alert in place. Please refer to data directly from Pearson aimswebPlus related to progress monitoring.

💡 Reminders
On Target for Success
The school folder in On Target for Success is an official record. Please ensure that information remains up to date and is accurate. This is not a box to check for compliance, but rather it serves as evidence of Response to Instruction and Intervention at your school. The RTI2A Team will be sending emails today to MTSS Leads to share any feedback following the folder checks that took place over Fall Break following Q1.
