People and Places: Clara M. Eagle Art Gallery
Featuring one of the largest gallery spaces in Kentucky, the Clara M. Eagle Art Gallery provides members of the Murray State community and the greater region an opportunity to engage with meaningful, innovative visual art exhibits free of charge. Located on the 6th floor of the Price Doyle Fine Arts Building, the multi-level hall features work by students, faculty, and nationally and internationally renowned artists alike on a rotating schedule throughout the year.
One of the gallery's most popular events is the annual Art Auction, held on the second Friday of November. Hundreds of original artworks are auctioned off, either by silent or live auctions. These works are donated from faculty, staff, students, and alumni, as well as local and regional artists. The event is open to the public and raises thousands of dollars in student scholarship support. This year's Art Auction will take place on Friday, November 11, with festivities beginning at 4:30pm. Read more about the gallery and the upcoming Art Auction on the CHFA blog!

CHFA Faculty Showcase
The 2023 CHFA Showcase aims to feature the stories behind our faculty’s work -- stories that can inspire and connect us while also providing insight into a particular topic or process. The Showcase will take place on Friday, February 3 at 3:00pm in the Performing Arts Hall. Any full-time CHFA faculty member can submit a presentation proposal. Presentations by a group of faculty are eligible for submission, too. Each presenter will receive a $500 honorarium. In the case of a group presentations, the honorarium will be divided equally among the presenters. The guidelines and submission link are available on the CHFA Dashboard. The deadline for submission is Friday, November 4, 2022, at 4:00pm.
