Winter MAP Results
We are pleased to see continued strong results from our winter MAP assessments. Across the school, the majority of classes met or exceeded our goal of the 80th percentile, reflecting consistent effort and thoughtful teaching. We also congratulate all students who demonstrated growth this winter. Their progress is a clear sign of perseverance and commitment to learning.

Current Family Enrollment for 2026-2027 School Year
A friendly reminder to please complete your child’s enrollment for the upcoming school year if you have not already done so. We are currently enrolling returning families, and Open Enrollment for the public begins February 2.
As a reminder, spots do fill quickly once open enrollment begins, so we encourage you to submit your enrollment as soon as possible to secure your child’s place for the new school year.
If you have any questions or need assistance with the enrollment process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Molly Hanson directly. We are happy to help and look forward to another wonderful year ahead.
Read Across America Week, March 2 - 6
After the great success of last year’s Book Fair, we are thrilled to once again partner with I:55 during Read Across America Week! This event is a wonderful opportunity to highlight age appropriate, family friendly books while fostering a love of reading within our children and school community.
To make this special week a continued success, we need your help. Please consider volunteering your time to support the Book Fair, whether it’s helping students browse, managing sales, or assisting with cleanup. Best of all, a portion of all sales goes directly back to St. John’s, supporting our students and school programs.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity. Together, we can make this another meaningful and memorable event for our students!
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
Volunteer for WatchDOGS
We invite the men of our community—dads, grandfathers, uncles, and other special men—to join Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) at St. John’s ELC–8th Grade. This one-time, 4-hour program provides positive male role models, supports safety and student well-being, and gives fathers and father figures a meaningful way to experience school life alongside their children.
Volunteer for Reading Rockstars!
Become a Reading Rockstar and help our younger students grow as readers! Volunteers commit to 30–60 minutes a week for 4 consecutive weeks, working one-on-one or in small groups to build strong reading habits and a lifelong love of reading.
You can sign up to be a Reading Rockstar until the end of the school year!
