FALL OPEN HOUSE - SEPTEMBER 24, 2025 (6 to 8 p.m.)
Fall Open House is an opportunity to experience a day in the life of your student by following their schedule, class by class.
During the evening, you will walk through your student’s daily schedule, meet each of their teachers, and learn about classroom expectations, curriculum highlights, and ways to support your child’s success.
There will also be tables showcasing several extracurricular clubs and activities.
We encourage you to bring a copy of your student’s schedule with you, as it will guide you from class to class.
Student schedules can be accessed through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
We look forward to seeing you and working together to ensure a successful year for every student.

Voluntary Student Accident Insurance
Enrollment in this insurance plan is purely voluntary on your part; however, it does provide protection for your child at a reasonable cost. This plan features up to $250,000 of accidental medical expenses and provides benefits for a period of one year – see brochure below for more specific details. Please note that there is no school medical protection for those families who reject this coverage. The School District does not carry medical insurance for students.
It is important for all parents to read carefully the terms and conditions stated in the insurance policy before a decision to purchase the insurance is made. You will note that certain benefits have defined limits.
The School District will not be responsible for any claims above the limits outlined in the policy. In other words, this policy may not pay 100% of all costs. It is extremely important that parents understand the exclusions and benefits offered under this program.
Parents should print, complete, and sign the attached application designating the desired coverage, enclose the correct premium, and mail directly to the insurance company. There must be a separate application for each child and a separate check or money order. DO NOT SEND CASH. Your canceled check or money order will be your receipt.
Rachel's Challenge Chain Reaction
Last year, students across the district had an opportunity to participate in a presentation from the Rachel's Challenge organization. Some students even had an additional opportunity to be a part of their 'Chain Reaction' training.
In our continued efforts across the district to promote kindness and compassion while also preventing bullying and other negative behaviors, Rachel's Challenge will be at the High School on September 30th and October 1st to run the Chain Reaction program with students in grades 9-12. This program is run with approximately 50 students in each grade level participating.
A survey will be sent to all students sometime in the next week or two to determine their interest in participating. Since space is limited, we will do our best to meet all of the requests. Attached you will find a flyer with more information.
