The Weekly Update #4

Good Afternoon Killam Families!
Thank you to everyone who helped make Teacher Appreciation Week such a success! We are especially grateful to Ellen Brogan and Vicki Brown for their thoughtful coordination and care in celebrating our staff.
This week marks the start of Math MCAS. Grade 3 students will test on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please help your child feel prepared by ensuring they arrive to school on time and bring a healthy snack and water.
We hope you will join us for the Killam Learning Fair next Thursday from 5:30β6:30 PM. This open-house style event is a wonderful opportunity to explore the building and see student work from across the school. All teachers will be present, and we look forward to welcoming you!
Kindergarten Screening for incoming students will take place on June 3. Letters with scheduled time slots were sent home on Friday. If you have any questions about registration, please contact jaculen.maglio@reading.k12.ma.us.
And one more date to keep in mindβField Day is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10. Volunteer sign-ups will be shared later this week.
