Get ready for the 2026–2027 athletic year! Legacy Academy Athletics is excited to host our 3rd Annual Sports Physical Day for all incoming middle school athletes.

Exams will take place in Mr. G's and Ms. Haylee's classrooms.

💲 Cost: $25 (Insurance billing available)

This one-stop event helps families complete everything needed before the season begins:

✅ Background Checks ($6 fee)
✅ Driver Requirements for Athletic Carpools

We are excited to kick off the 2026 Fall Athletics Season for our 6th–8th graders!

The official season begins on Wednesday, August 12, and we can't wait to welcome our student-athletes back for another year of competition, growth, and Wildcat pride. Whether this is your athlete's first season or their final year at Legacy, we're looking forward to an incredible fall together.

At Legacy Academy, athletics are about much more than wins and losses. Through sports, our student-athletes learn perseverance, teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, and character—lessons that extend far beyond the playing field.

First Day of School = First Day of Tryouts!

Girls Volleyball and Boys Soccer will hold tryouts on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 12, and Thursday, August 13, from 3:45–5:45 PM.

Before participating, every athlete must have:

✅ A current sports physical on file
✅ Completed athletic registration

**Athletes who have not completed both requirements before tryouts will not be able to participate.

🏃 Ready... Set... Wait! Cross Country begins its season on Wednesday, August 19, with practices from 3:45–5:30 PM.

Cross Country is open to 4th–8th graders! This is the only Legacy Academy sport that includes both upper elementary and middle school athletes.

Meet Our Fall Coaching Staff

Our coaching staff is passionate about helping student-athletes grow both on and off the court, field, and course. Before the first whistle blows, our coaches have already been hard at work! They invest countless hours preparing practices, developing skills, building relationships, and creating a positive experience for every Wildcat.

Many of our coaches have also spent the offseason participating in coaching education courses and professional development opportunities to prepare for the season. Their commitment to continuous learning reflects their dedication to providing the best possible experience for every student-athlete.

Legacy Academy Baseball is looking for a dedicated Hitting Coach who is passionate about developing young athletes and building confidence at the plate.

We're not looking for someone to wave a magic wand.

We're looking for someone who can help our athletes:
⚾ Develop fundamentally sound swings
⚾ Build confidence in the batter's box
⚾ Understand situational hitting and approach
⚾ Turn quality at-bats into competitive baseball

Our goal is simple: compete with the best. We want to close the gap, challenge the top teams in our conference, and give our student-athletes every opportunity to succeed.
