Principal's Corner

As we come to the close of this semester, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. This has been a truly wonderful semester, and it wouldn't have been the same without your continued support, involvement, and dedication to our school community.

Whether you volunteered your time, supported your child's learning at home, or simply stayed engaged in our school events, your contributions have made a lasting impact on our students and our school as a whole. It's because of your partnership that we are able to provide such a rich and meaningful experience for all of our students.

We’ve seen so much growth this semester — academically, socially, and personally — and that’s a reflection of the strong collaboration between school and home. Thank you for being a vital part of that success!

As we look ahead to the next semester, I’m excited for all that we will continue to achieve together. Wishing you and your family a restful and joyful break, filled with peace and happiness.

Mark your calendar!

We will be doing middle of the year awards on January 17th during the school day. More information will be coming soon.

Parent Lunches

After the new year, we will take a short break with parent lunches. We will resume them on January 21st. We need a little time to review cafeteria rules and expectations in order to ensure a solid 2nd semester! We will see you back soon!

However, here are a few guidelines for parent lunches:

- student may only have a visitor once a week

- the visitor must be on the child's emergency contact list

- ONLY the visitor and the child may sit together at lunch at the designated tables. The ONLY exception is if there are siblings in the same grade.

- visitors are NOT to address any other students while attending lunch

- food that is brought to the cafeteria can only be for the visitor and the student they are eating with.

These guidelines are subject to change at any time.

DISMISSAL ANNOUNCEMENT! PLEASE READ!

Parents:

It is essential for you to pick your child(ren) up on time. We understand that there are times that things happen but picking up beyond 4:00 is not acceptable. Our staff has meetings as well as other family obligations to attend following the work day. When you are late, it holds everyone up from doing what they need to do. Please be mindful of this.

Dismissal will begin at 3:30 for the duration of the school year! Thank you for being patient as students learn the routines and procedures! Our goal everyday is a 3:45 end time for dismissal!

Please make sure that you are staying in your car and going through the car rider pickup. We need to keep the front clear for special situations, buses and daycare. Please review the following guidelines:

1) student transportation changes are accepted up to 2:00. If you have changes, the office AND teacher must be notified.
2) you MUST have your ID to pick up any child. Even if you have been to the school before. You will be required to have an ID to pick up a child from the office.
3) you MUST have a car tag to go through the car line. If you do not, you will proceed to the front office and get a new card. You will be required to wait until 3:50/3:55 when dismissal has ended to get your child.
4) no students will be called to the office during dismissal. You will have to wait for late pickup.
5). no students will be dismissed after 3:00 PM. If you are not at the school before 3 PM, you will be required to proceed through the dismissal line.

6) Please stay in your dismissal "Color" line (orange or green). Even if a child is absent, you stay in the same color lane.
