Dear Coppell Choir Family,
We’re thrilled to share that all students have now been assigned their choir uniforms as we gear up for our Fall Concert on October 7th! Seeing our singers suited up and ready to represent their ensembles is such an exciting milestone—it brings us one step closer to an unforgettable performance.
🎉 It's Homecoming Week! Join the Celebration with CHS Choir! 🎉
We’re excited to celebrate Homecoming Week and would love for you to join us in representing CHS Choir at two special events!
📣 Homecoming Parade – Wednesday
Walk with us in the Homecoming Parade this Wednesday! We’ll be featuring a choir float with the Madrigals performing onboard, and we’d love for ALL choir members to walk alongside and represent CHS Choir with pride.
📍 More parade details can be found below.
🎤 National Anthem Performance – Friday (Mandatory for A Cappella & Kantorei)
Join us Friday as we perform the National Anthem to kick off the Homecoming Game!
🍕 Pizza will be provided in the CHS Choir Room after school before we head to the performance.
👕 Please wear your black choir shirt from last year. If you don’t have one, wear a plain black t-shirt.
📍 After the performance, you may either stay to enjoy the game or walk back to the choir room with the directors to be dismissed.
☀️ Morning Rehearsals Continue This Week
Morning rehearsals are in full swing for Madrigals, Combined Varsity Treble, and Select Tenor-Bass. Double-check the rehearsal schedule and make sure to arrive early, warmed up, and ready to sing!
🎤 9/10 Honor Choir Auditions – Sign-Up Due October 10th!
Ready to audition? We’d love to hear you! Interested students must fill out the Google Form linked under “Upcoming Events” to register. (Reminder: Singers should complete this themselves to avoid duplicate submissions!)
🎶 Calling All Choir Parent Volunteers! 🎶
We have a busy (and exciting!) week ahead, and we need your help to make it all happen smoothly. We're looking for parent volunteers for two upcoming events:
-
Homecoming Parade Chaperones – Wednesday, September 10th
-
Homecoming Food Servers – Friday, September 12th
If you're available to lend a hand, please check out the Choir Sign-Up Genius link below to claim a spot. Your support makes a big difference—we truly couldn't do it without you!
Thank you for your continued support, enthusiasm, and partnership.
Warmly,
Your Coppell Choir Directors
