Welcome Back Wildcats
Let's Go, 2026 - 2027!!
✨Greeting From The Wildcat Library/ Media Center
My name is Sandra Turner, and I serve as the Campus Librarian and Media Specialist at Humble High School. I have had the privilege of working on this campus for over ten years. Throughout my tenure, the library’s vision has remained consistent: to promote a love of reading for enjoyment and to support students in developing strong research skills. The mission of the Wildcat Library and Media Center is to empower students to become critical thinkers, passionate readers, and responsible users of information.
Relentless Pursuit 🐾
🎯 Theme for the Year: Every Student, Every Day!
Why Daily Attendance Matters
✅ Missed Lessons = Missed Opportunities
Even one day out can mean falling behind on key lessons, activities, and class discussions.
📈 School Today, Success Tomorrow
Consistent attendance is one of the strongest predictors of academic progress—and opens doors to future opportunities.
💪 Resilience in Action
Being present every day builds habits of responsibility, perseverance, and grit.
👯 Stronger Friendships
Daily attendance helps students form strong social bonds and feel more connected at school.
🧠 Healthier Habits
A consistent routine supports mental and physical wellness—for kids and families.

Teacher Of The Month
Lauren Murray
Hi! I’m Ms. Murray, and I’m so excited to be joining the math team this year! I’m a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2023 (Whoop!) and graduated with a degree in Economics. Outside of the classroom, I love traveling, reading, and going to sporting events!
I have a feeling this year is already shaping up to be a great one… from every angle! I’m looking forward to a year full of growth, laughter, and plenty of problem-solving—both in and outside of the classroom!
Library Card Sign-up Month 2026 will take place throughout September 2026. Sponsored annually by the American Library Association (ALA), this national initiative aims to promote digital literacy, provide free access to educational resources, and highlight the community programs offered through public libraries. The campaign also encourages individuals of all ages to obtain their first library card and explore the services available at local libraries as the new school year begins.
