Wrangler Round Up
8/21/26
Principal's Message
Howdy Wranglers!
What a great first full week at Hedrick Middle School! Our Wranglers have been settling into routines, getting to know their teachers and classmates, and learning what it means to be successful the Wrangler Way. We have loved seeing students filling the hallways with energy, excitement, and plenty of smiles!
As we move into the weeks ahead, we encourage students to continue arriving on time, coming prepared each day, and giving their best effort in every class. Building strong habits now will help make for a successful school year.
Thank you, families, for helping us get this school year off to such a great start. We are excited for all that is ahead for our Wranglers!
Go Wranglers!!ðŸ¤
Warmly,
Linda Cragin, Principal
Pick Up/ Drop Off
Please use caution when entering, navigating, and leaving the parking lot when picking up and dropping off students. Stop signs should be observed just as they are on the street. The only exception is at dismissal when there are cones set up and there is a staff member waving traffic through the stop sign. At all other times all cars should come to a complete stop at all stop signs. People not following traffic laws will be subject to tickets and fines, please keep yourself and others safe during these high-traffic times.
Please see the map below for pick up and drop off location. Students must only be dropped off and picked up in the parent car loop using the entrance on the northeast corner of campus.

Counselor's Corner
In Lewisville ISD, the whole child is at the core of everything we do as a district,
including our students' mental, emotional and physical health. With counselors
on every campus, LISD knows parents want their children to receive an
outstanding education, but more importantly, they want their children to be
nurtured and cared for beyond just academics.
LISD provides families with resources to ensure each child receives the support
they need to develop every aspect of their being.
