Celebrating the Class of 2025

During the Regular Board of School Directors Meeting on May 27, 2025, Methacton High School Principal Dr. Euker joined the Board to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the Class of 2025. A total of 139 seniors were recognized with M Awards for academic excellence, having earned a grade point average of 93% or higher. As their names appeared on the screen, Dr. Euker highlighted their remarkable accomplishments. See the full list of names here. Congratulations to these exemplary seniors!

The meeting also included a ceremonial signing of diplomas for the two student board representatives, Victoria Fan and Sol Martin. Three Board Directors, President Jen Cancro, Vice President Semira Perdue, and Kate Graf, signed the diplomas for their own children who are graduating this year as well. We look forward to celebrating all of our seniors at graduation on June 12!

M Awards Given to Varsity Tennis Team

Congratulations to the Boys' Varsity Tennis team who was honored at the Regular Board of School Directors meeting on May 27, 2025. The 11 student-athletes received M Awards for Athletic Excellence following their 2025 PAC Championship win. In addition to the team win, Dylan Wen won PAC singles, and Wen and Karun Jayaram won the PAC doubles. It was an incredible year for the team, coached by Jill Walker and Val Danze. Congratulations to all!

Board Approves 3-year MESPA Agreement

The Board of School Directors approved a 3-year agreement in a vote of 5-0-1 with the Methacton Education Support Professionals Association (MESPA). The current agreement was due to expire June 30, 2025 and this approval provides a number of provisions that help attract and retain quality staff. The agreement calls for increases in employee medical and prescription drugs on an average of 1% per year per plan. It aligns wording with some of the district other employment contract with respects to vacation, sick day use, and holidays. It updates the employee classifications for recently created positions and provides for an annual salary increase in each of the years at 3%. For more information, see the presentation here.
