Admin Corner
The roots here run deep and wide. We have students who grew up in our classrooms starting at Cherrydale, Chloe Clark, or Anderson Island, progressing to Salter’s Point and Pioneer, and finally reaching SHS. We have military and civilian families who have lived across the state or around the world before choosing to make Steilacoom their permanent home. We have dedicated district staff raising their own families alongside our students, and faithful coaches and mentors who have guided our children—including my own—from youth sports to where they are now.
That is the heart of the Steilacoom community.
Every single day at SHS, I witness parents, neighbors, and staff stepping up for each other's kids, offering support whenever it's needed, and investing deeply in their futures. When our students feel that unified safety net, the impact is measurable: lower stress, a greater sense of security, and stronger academic success. You provide an anchor of stability, no matter how uncertain the world outside may feel.
Thank you for being the kind of community that looks out for one another. Together, we are what makes this town Steilly Strong.
In partnership,
Hayley

We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
