The Red Mill Reader

January was an exciting and snowy month! Students and staff returned from the winter break feeling refreshed and ready to take on 2026! Students worked very hard to complete their middle of the year assessments and showed perseverance throughout all of these tasks. Staff participated in a professional development day to share their ideas with other teachers in the district. And, we had a little fun with the snow at the end of the month!

Red Mill’s second graders will be heading to the Natatorium starting February 11 for their swimming unit. Students will have the opportunity to build confidence in the water, practice basic swimming skills, and enjoy a unique wellness experience as part of their physical education program. Our teachers are excited to support students as they learn, grow, and have fun in the pool!
