RHS Financial Literacy Fair sponsored by BankNewport
The Rogers High School Financial Education Fair sponsored by BankNewport is taken place today, April 28th, in the Rogers gymnasium to celebrate the end of Financial Literacy month. Students enrolled in our Personal Finance, Consumer Math, Calculus, and Probability and Statistics classes are scheduled to attend.
The Financial Education Fair will place students through a realistic budgeting experience. They will make lifestyle spending decisions based on a chosen career, monthly income and living expenses, and also engage with members of the local business community who have kindly agreed to host a booth at the Fair. Students will put into practice what they learned from BankNewport presentations conducted during the school year on topics including Careers, Checking and Savings, Digital Banking, and the importance of Credit.
The goal of the Fair is for students to have a better appreciation of the importance of budgeting, financial planning and making wise purchasing decisions.
2023 Seaside Consortium College Fair
Today, Friday, April 28, 2023, Rogers High School in coordination with Salve Regina University and Middletown High School will host 60 College Admissions representatives from 9:30-10:40 in our cafeteria for the second year. Juniors will be called down first and 30 minutes later Sophomores will be called down.
Also, St George's School is welcoming any Rogers Juniors who would like to attend their college fair this evening. There will be over 100 College Admission Representatives available. The time is 5:30 -7:45 for Juniors only. Students may be dropped off and picked up at the Field House.
