I have had a wonderful school year with your students!
From Guidance Lessons, Small Groups, Individual Counseling and Personalized Counseling meetings; it has been wonderful getting to work with our AMAZING Oaks Owls!
I want to encourage everyone to be, “happy, healthy and safe” all summer.
A summer filled with connection, rest, play, and emotional balance can help kids recharge and return to school feeling their best.
Keeping a routine, doing emotional check-ins, encouraging play, connecting with nature, and taking care of yourself can help you and your student(s) have a great summer!!
Part of our daily Care Time at school included “mindful moments”. Mindfulness/mindful moments are a quick way to support emotional balance and self awareness.
Practicing mindfulness just a few minutes a day can help kids handle stress better and feel more peaceful.
A website that we visited in Guidance Lessons, called the Digital Calming Room (click here) has tons of great activities!
