ELA: Mrs. Day & Mrs.Goosen

As we come to the end of our companion book we continued to focus on elaborating and explaining- especially in our symbolism chapter. We created covers for our companion books using canva. This assignment is posted in Classroom (Companion Book). We are encouraging students to think deeper about their reading by asking why and making connections.

If you would like to support our classroom library, please visit our class Amazon Wish List (Day) or Amazon Wish List (Goosen). Thank you for your support!

Science: Mr. Geringer & Mrs. Oliver

Students worked in groups to create posters about how systems of the human body work together to accomplish the following tasks: provide nutrients and oxygen to cells, remove carbon dioxide and waste from the body, how the body protects itself, and how the body coordinates movement and responds to its surroundings. Students will learn from one another about the tasks their classmates explained and complete an assessment after spring break.
