Help Us Reopen the Clairemont Pool!
It’s been nearly two years since the Clairemont Pool closed, and while construction should wrap up by late September, a city budget shortfall could leave it without staff to reopen.
Help push for full funding and reopening. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey and share your concerns. More community voices = more action.
We encourage you to reach out to the District 2 City Counsel to directly express your concerns. Contact information:
Carrie Munson, Senior Policy Advisor

A few key points to write or call about:
The City has closed this pool for nearly 2 years.
This coastal community has experienced 2 seasons of missed swimming lessons, water safety, etc.
The funding to rehab the pool is already being spent.
Staffing the pool in FY26-27 is important to relieve this community of a lost recreational resource for nearly 2 years.
For questions of more information contact CHS Water Polo Coach Joey Kienle.
