Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! We hope this message finds you refreshed and ready for a fantastic start to 2025. This is a wonderful time to reflect on the first half of the school year and reset goals to ensure the best success possible for your student in the months ahead.
As we gear up for the remainder of the year, we’d like to emphasize a few key habits that make a big difference in academic success:
- School Attendance: Being present and on time each day is essential for staying on track and engaged in learning.
- Completing Homework and Studying: Regular practice and preparation for quizzes and tests help build confidence and reinforce learning.
- Utilizing Intervention & Enrichment (I&E) Time: This is a valuable opportunity for students to seek extra help, ask questions, and solidify their understanding of challenging topics.
Together, we can make 2025 a year of growth, achievement, and success. Thank you for your continued support in helping your student thrive.
A Star Among Us...Robert Kaupas
Students gathered with excitement to watch one of their very own shine on the Today Show, performing live with the Philadelphia Boys Choir. The performance was truly amazing, and the energy in the room was electric as students cheered on their talented peer. It’s inspiring to witness such incredible talent in our school community!
Congratulations to Timothy Zorn
Tim Zorn was accepted into the All-South Jersey Middle School Orchestra. After months of preparation and a long day of auditions, Tim received the highest score in the region and placed as the first chair cello! Tim will participate in the concert at Rowan University on January 6th. Congratulations to Tim for all his hard work and dedication!

Transportation
Your child should be at the bus stop at least 5-10 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time. When notified in advance, the Transportation Department will attempt to send an automated message for individual route delays of 20 minutes or more. School buses are scheduled to depart approximately 10-15 minutes after the end bell time. Please allow for some fluctuation in pick-up and drop-off times, particularly during the first three weeks of school as students become familiar with boarding the buses and Drivers at the Middle, Elementary, and Preschools work to secure seating charts.
Throughout the school year, daily pick-up and drop-off times may fluctuate due to weather, traffic, construction, etc. We thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions, please contact the Transportation Department at 856-489-5851. For late bus runs at the Middle and High School, please contact the appropriate transportation contractor for Late Route inquiries. (West, Beck, and Rosa are Hillman’s 856-753-1123/East and Carusi are First Student (Berlin) 856-753-0222)
