Forest families,

It is hard to believe that this is the last newsletter of this school year! I want to thank each one of you for the ample amount of volunteering and assisting you have done this year. From Watch D.O.G.S., mystery readers, popcorn helpers, classroom center helpers, and many more; we appreciate your support. We have had SO many fun events this year, not only for our students, but for our families as well. I would like to thank Forest Parent Club for all of their hard work for these events.

In May, we had bike/roll to school day, teacher appreciation week, parent club board elections for next year, Wax museum, many field trips, Forest Block Party, Fun Run and RCHS graduation. It was a very fun and packed month!

If you have a current student at Forest and do not plan to return this fall please call or email Ms. Annie in the office. If you have an incoming Kindergartener, please complete the online registration forms in PowerSchool and upload your documents as soon as possible. Documents can also be brought into the office or scanned and emailed to Ms. Annie

(aprusakiewicz@riverviewschools.com).

Parents, don't forget to pick up any medication, inhalers, epipens from your child's teacher or from the office before the office closes. Any medication that is not picked up will be disposed.

Have a relaxing and enjoyable summer. We look forward to seeing you this fall.

Go Pirates!

The Wax Museum Project, headed up by Mrs. Grunwald is where students research one historical figure from history. Every fourth-grade student had to read about their person, research the person, create a poster and write an informative essay. On Monday, May 6th students dressed up as their person and presented their speech to other Forest students, staff and parents/family members that came to listen. It was a beautiful day for everyone involved. Well done, 4th grade students.

Courtesy Clothes Closet

Are your child's clothing drawers overflowing? Does your child have clothing that does not fit any longer? We are looking for gently used items for our Courtesy Closet. Items would be available for students that need spare clothes during the school day. For those spills during lunch, in STEAM or for when students accidently fall into puddles or mud outside. Items for children in grades K-2 are in high demand. Stretch pants, running pants and leggings are most desirable. Please drop off donations to the office. Thank you so much!
