Dear Scott’s Branch Middle High School Parents and Students,

This is a friendly reminder of our school’s cell phone policy. From arrival until the end of the instructional day (7:15 AM–3:15 PM), students should not have access to personal electronic devices. “Access” means viewing, holding, wearing, or using a device for calls, internet, gaming, recording, or similar functions. Devices should be powered off and stored as directed by teachers/staff in lock boxes. Also, personal electronic devices including: iPads, tablets, personal computers, smart watches, Bluetooth earbuds/headphones are not allowed at school. Our goal is to minimize distractions and maintain a focused, safe, and productive learning environment for all students.

Additionally, please be advised of an important change to our afternoon car rider dismissal procedures.

Beginning Monday, August 24th, all afternoon car riders will be dismissed from the front of the building. Please follow the directions of our staff members during dismissal to help ensure a safe and efficient process for everyone.

We appreciate your continued partnership, cooperation, and support as we work together to provide the best possible environment for our students.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Alisha Wells,

Principal

Miss Davis

My name is Ashley Davis and I am so excited to be your Library Media Specialist. This year marks my 20th year in education—a journey that began with 12 years as a classroom teacher before I transitioned into my role as a librarian eight years ago. I am now in my third year at SBMHS, and I am deeply honored to have been named the 2026-2027 Teacher of the Year. Reading has always been my passion, and I am enthusiastic about sharing and instilling the importance of reading in our students. Every day, I strive to create a welcoming library environment where students can discover the transformative power of books and develop a lifelong love of learning.

My name is Dawn Johnson, and I am the Attendance/PowerSchool Clerk at Scott’s Branch Middle High School. I began my journey with the school as a substitute in 2012 and became a district employee in 2018.
