Last week, I spoke pretty directly about tardies and the importance of following our procedures for checking students in after 7:55. And I just want to say…thank you. You listened—and more importantly, you acted.

Because of you, our students are getting to class on time, our systems are running the way they’re supposed to, and most importantly, our kids are safer. That doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because families and staff commit to doing things the right way, even when it takes extra effort.

Thank you for setting that example for our students, for supporting our campus expectations, and for helping create a school community where every minute of learning counts.

Each year, CISD hosts an Early Childhood Registration Fair. But it's not just about getting registration out of the way. It is an actual fair! Face painting, games, free hot dogs, and giveaways. Kids can also tour a school bus, fire engine, ambulance, a police car, and classrooms! Fun for the family! Please pass this information on to anyone you know with PK or Kinder age students.
