Back to School
We had another great week at Wall Primary School! Our Pups are really enjoying learning something new each day! Our 3 year-olds are starting to learn how to salute the flag and our 4 year-olds are recognizing and writing their names!
Thank you for keeping your kids home when they are sick! Germs spread very quickly in our little building. Please remember our Board of Education policy that states, if your child has a fever s/he must remain home until s/he is fever-free (without Tylenol) for 24 hours.
We would like to give a special thank you to Miss Sue who has been filling in while we were hiring a replacement for Ms. P, who will be out for 23-24 school year. Miss Sue, who has been enjoying retirement, stepped in and did an amazing job getting the school year started. Miss Sue will be with us until October 9th, when our new teacher, Mrs. Dalton will take over. Miss Kim and Miss Tara, our amazing paraprofessionals, will remain in the class, keeping everything running smoothly during the transition. And don't worry, Miss Sue has assured us that she will be back to sub when our one of our teachers is out.
Next week is a busy week! There is no school on Monday! We can't wait to meet all of you at Back to School Night on 9/28. Both of our School Safety Officers will be here to assist with parking as the lots fill up fast. We will meet in Mrs. Boland's room for a very brief and very informal opening remarks at 7PM and then parents will move to the classrooms for the teacher presentations. Please leave your little ones at home. Although we'd love to have a big family night, we just don't have the space, and we want to ensure everyone's safety.
