7th & 8th Grade Boys Basketball Results

Wednesday, 1/26 - Bullock Creek

The 7th grade B team took a win over Bullock Creek with a score of 21-19. Top players for tonight were Jordyn Smith: 7 pts, Caiden Miller: 6 pts, 7 blocked shots and Grady Galbraith: 6 pts.

The 7th grade A team also took a win over Bullock Creek with a score of 44-27. Top players for tonight were Gavin Schmidt: 16 pts, Wyatt Launstein: 16 pts, Drew Genow: 4 pts, 12 steals and Colton Siler: 4 pts.

The 8th Grade Huskies lost some toughly contested games to the Bullock Creek Lancers. The Huskies played both games with only 10 players once again, which is a very difficult challenge, but they rose to the occasion. The boys had a chance to win the first game, but a few timely shots from Bullock Creek swung the game. There were standout performances from Gabe Messing, Brennan Meyer, and nice outside shooting from Jack Ray. Elias Gomez also scored his first basket! Great work boys, keep it up!

Monday Memories

The library is celebrating its 80th year! We will be sharing 'Monday Memories' each week to remember our past, celebrate the present, and share happenings for the future. Special events at the library are being planned too. The library actually began in 1895 as residents took turns housing the collection in their homes for everyone to use. Over the years families moved making the mobile library difficult to maintain and the decision was made to donate the books to the public school system. Through the work of Loleta Fyan, the first state librarian of Michigan who pushed for more libraries to be opened and the residents of Richland Township, your library was formally established in 1942.
