๐ต CMJEA Region II Elementary Honors Chorus Festival
We are so proud of our seven Roosevelt Elementary School students who participated in the Central Regions Honors Chorus Festival last Saturday, May 9th! They joined approximately 110 talented student singers from surrounding districts and represented the Manville School District with professionalism, enthusiasm, and beautiful musicianship. Their hard work and dedication were evident in their lovely performance, and they should be very proud of this accomplishment.
๐ MSD Multicultural Night ๐
On May 14th, the MHS Courtyard was transformed into a global marketplace for our annual Multicultural Night. Students, families, and staff gathered to celebrate the rich diversity that defines the Manville School District.
Attendees enjoyed an incredible spread of authentic dishes from around the globe, including Portugal, Costa Rica, Ireland, the Dominican Republic, and many more! Beyond the food, the courtyard was alive with music, dancing, and traditional games, providing a festive atmosphere for neighbors to connect and learn from one another.
Thank you to all the volunteers and families who shared their heritage with us!
๐ด Congratulations - Mr. Luke Weisenbach
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our new principal, Mr. Luke Weisenbach! We are incredibly excited to have him join our school family and look forward to the fresh energy, leadership, and vision he will bring to our students, staff, and community.
As we turn this exciting new corner, we also want to share some wonderful news about Mrs. Rissmiller. While we will miss her leadership here, we are thrilled to announce that she will be joining the team at Weston as their new building principal starting in July. We are so grateful for everything she has done for our school, and we know she will do amazing things in her new role.
Change brings growth, and we are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead with Principal Weisenbach at the helm!

Getting Help: Our Chain of Command
When you have a question or concern, the fastest way to get a resolution is to follow the district's "Chain of Command." This ensures you are speaking directly with the staff member who has firsthand knowledge of the situation.

๐ Attendance Matters
It's The Final Countdown
As we move into the final month of the school year, it can be tempting to let routines slideโbut this is actually the most critical time for consistent attendance! Staying on track now ensures our students are fully prepared for end-of-year milestones and their transition to the next grade.

Letโs keep our attendance "Excellent" all the way to the finish line! Thank you for partnering with us to make every school day count for our Roosevelt Colts. ๐ด
