Last evening, the PTN sponsored our Trunk or Treat festivity! This was another huge success and fun was had by all. Food trucks, a DJ, Prizes for creative costumes and treats for everyone. Thank you to all who sponsored a trunk at the event and to all the families who participated!

Our 5th graders will have the opportunity to visit JTHS on November 18 to watch a preview of the high school Fall Play, Peter the Starcatcher! Permission slips will be sent home on November 2nd and are due back on November 16. Transportation will be provided by the District and Homeroom teachers will all chaperone this event. Buses will depart JT5-6 at 9:30 and return by 11:15am.

The Jackson School District is excited to share Marble Health as an additional mental health resource for students and families. Marble provides virtual therapy with licensed therapists, including individual, group, and family therapy. Appointments are typically available within four days with no waitlists, and Marble accepts most insurance plans, including Medicaid. Their therapists have experience working specifically with students and families and can provide support for concerns such as anxiety, school avoidance, bullying, stress, and other social-emotional challenges. Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our staff have been making phone calls home and scheduling in person meetings with parents as part of our initiative to improve daily student attendance. If your child has difficulty coming to school, we are here to help assist you. If they are absent due to illness, please bring in a doctor's note.

We had an overwhelming response for students to participate in our morning extracurricular clubs. At this time, all spots are filled. If your child is interested in participating in a club, information regarding the winter season will be released in the next few weeks.

If your child has lost a piece of clothing, water bottle, lunch box or other item, please have them check the lost and found area outside of the cafeteria. Items are already starting to accumulate!

We have over a dozen eyeglasses in the main office that students have lost. Please have your child check to see if we found their glasses before you go and buy a new pair!

Dear Parents and Students,

All students in grades 5 and 6 will be turning in their old chromebooks and chargers and be issued a new chromebook and charger Late November/ Early December. We apologize for the change and will continue to remind teachers, students and parents of the new dates when finalized.

Parent-Teacher Conferences Will Be Held Nov. 2-4, 2026. Beginning Oct. 16 through Oct. 25, you can schedule your conference on the parent portal. You will be given the option to schedule a conference IN-PERSON or VIRTUALLY. For help, see our How to Schedule a Conference on the Portal document.

Our individual student NJSLA score reports have come in. Parents will receive these score reports during Parent Conference week during scheduled appointments. If you do not have a conference scheduled, these reports will be sent home with students on Monday, November 9, 2026.
