Message from Mr. Karmazin, Principal
Week of February 3rd, 2025
Bears of Bryan Middle – February Academic Success Update
As we move into February, we want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of academic success and the critical role that families play in supporting student learning. At Bryan Middle, we are committed to helping every student reach their full potential, and we appreciate your partnership in this effort.
To ensure students stay on track, we will be sending out biweekly emails and texts regarding missing work and failing grades. Completing classwork is essential, as it aligns directly with our guaranteed and viable curriculum, reinforcing key skills and knowledge.
For students who need additional support, we offer multiple opportunities to get back on track:
🔹 Academic Recovery – A dedicated space for students to receive help with missing assignments.
🔹 Tutoring – Focused support for skill development; students must be committed to putting in extra effort.
🔹 Paper Tutoring – Free online tutoring available seven days a week until 11 p.m. through the Clever app on student iPads. Families can learn more at www.ops.org/tutoring.
We encourage you to check your student's grades by logging into the Parent Portal at https://campus.ops.org/campus/portal/ops.jsp. Students can also access their grades via their iPad.
Today is a great day to review grades together and set goals for success! If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for your ongoing support in ensuring every Bryan Middle student is prepared for success now and in the future!
Mr. Karmazin
Principal, Bryan Middle School
