Thursday, June 4 - Last day of School

End of Year Medication Pick up and Disposal

As we wrap up another school year, all medications and supplies must be picked up from the health office by the end of the school day on Thursday, June 4, 2026

• If you have medications in the health office, you will receive an email from the school nurse with detailed instructions regarding pick up.

• We do not store any medications over the summer. Any medication remaining after June 4, 2026 will be properly disposed in accordance with Food and Drug Administration Safe Disposal of Medications guidance at the Arlington Heights Police Department.

For any questions, please contact your school nurse.

Student registration is now due for families who have not yet completed it. The district is requesting online registrations to be completed by the end of May. If you have not already done so, please complete your child’s registration immediately.

If you did not receive the registration link, or if your child will not be returning next year, you must notify the office at ihoffice@sd25.org as soon as possible.

Please note: registration must be completed in order for your child to be enrolled for next year.

Senior Walk 2026 was such a special and heartfelt moment as our graduating seniors returned to the halls that shaped so many of their memories. The school filled with cheers, smiles, and a few happy tears as students and staff celebrated them one last time. It was a beautiful reminder of how far they’ve come and how deeply they’re rooted in our school community. We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and wish them all the best as they step into their next chapter.

Our 5th graders took part in a Band and Choir show at school last week. Students showcased their music skills and performed with confidence. It was a joyful celebration of their learning and progress.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Hengels and Ms. Ross for their incredible effort in planning, organizing, and running such a fantastic Field Day for our students! Your hard work and attention to detail truly made the day fun, active, and memorable for everyone involved.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the PTA for treating our students to refreshing popsicles, bringing in the exciting bouncy obstacle course, and generously arranging the Tom's coffee truck for staff — such a thoughtful touch that was truly appreciated!

A special appreciation goes out to all of our amazing parent volunteers. Your time, support, and enthusiasm helped everything run smoothly and made a big difference in creating a safe and fun experience for all of our students.

It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful to everyone who came together to make Field Day such a wonderful success.

Regular attendance at school is an essential part of each student’s educational experience in District 25. If your child will be absent, we ask that you report the absence using the method designated for your school, listed below.

Please notify the office if your child is absent, late, or leaving early:

If the school office has not been notified of a child’s absence by 9:05 a.m., the school will contact the parent/guardian. If they cannot be reached, the school will attempt to contact the emergency contacts listed on the student’s emergency form (included in the registration packet).

These procedures are in place to ensure families are informed each day and that all students are accounted for and safe.

Every day that your child is not in school, is late or is leaving early the office needs to know!! There are three ways to notify us and they are available 24 hours a day!

1. Our GOOGLE FORM - just write in the information - you don't have to talk to anyone!

2. Our ATTENDANCE HOT LINE - Just call 847-398-4275 (the main number) and press 1 - leave us a message.

3. Email office - ihoffice@sd25.org

If you don't notify us, we are required to call you so PLEASE let us know if your child is absent, late or leaving early!!
