Happy Homecoming Friday Panther families! We have had a very "SPIRITED" week here in the middle school.

I want to start by thanking our Student Council, led by Mrs. Lebeck, for creating a wonderful Spirit Week! Between the different daily themes and all the participation it was really an awesome week! Attached in the newsletter you will see some great examples of our DKMS spirit.

I would also like to thank our DK PIE group for putting together the 2024 Walk-A-Thon. Our kids got the opportunity to get on the track, have some fun, and raise some money. I would like to thank everyone who donated to the walk-a-thon. The money raised will go towards helping pay for student field trips and educational items in teachers' classrooms.

Next week we will begin our after school Success Center. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, students will be able to work on assignments and get extra help from a teacher. On Tuesdays Mrs. Estep will run the Success Center and on Thursdays it will be Ms. Renee. If your child does stay for Success Center they will need to be picked up at 4:00 pm because we do not offer transportation home.

Next week Tuesday I will be emailing parents teacher links to sign up for our Parent/Teacher Conferences. Conferences will be held on:

• Tuesday October 15, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
• Tuesday October 22, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Please sign up for times to meet with your child's teachers.

As always I would like to thank our students, staff, families, and community for all of their support. Weeks like this show how committed everyone is to making Delton a great place to live and go to school.

I JUST CAN'T HIDE THAT PANTHER PRIDE!!! GO PANTHERS!!!

Thank you,

Bobby Tillman

Please follow and double check with Eventlink and your child's coach to ensure there are no schedule changes.

Thank you!

The athletic department has implemented some new tools and strategies to streamline communication and transparency throughout the department. These new programs should help streamline communication, event ticket purchases and potentially some registrations in the near future.

* Eventlink.com is where information for athletic events and facility usage can be found. Tickets and season passes can be purchased through Eventlink, and you are able to customize your experience by choosing which sports you would like communications from.

* Finalforms.com is where physicals and other important documents should go. These documents can be uploaded by your phone by taking a picture of the document.

* The Athletic Department would prefer all pay to participate payments go through this virtual portal for all Middle School and High School athletes.

Pay to Participate Fees can be paid HERE

* Hudl.com is where fans can subscribe to watch live streams of home events that occur at the turf stadium or the High School main gymnasium.
