Husky Howl
March 30, 2026
Huskies,
It has been a great time at Huffines as our students continue to learn, grow, and represent the Husky Pack with pride. We are grateful for your continued support at home. Here are a few highlights:
- Congratulations to our track athletes and coaches for a fantastic season! Several of our students placed at the District Track Meet, and we are proud of their hard work and dedication
- During Career Day, our students had the opportunity to hear real stories and learn about the many paths available to them, thanks to the incredible support of our Huffines families and community members
- Students in Ms. Pitchford and Ms. Presley’s classes enjoyed a trip to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, bringing learning to life through hands-on experiences
Ready to Learn
Our priority is to maintain a safe, welcoming environment where every student can learn and thrive. We need your support to make this happen.
• Ensure your student is at school and on time each day
• Encourage your student to come prepared and ready to learn
• Reinforce the importance of kindness, respect, and positive behavior
With your partnership, we can make these final weeks a successful and positive experience for all students.
Easter Reminder
- With Easter this weekend, confetti eggs can be a fun way to celebrate. However, they are not allowed at school, as they create disruptions and make it difficult to keep our campus clean
- Students who bring or use confetti eggs at school may receive disciplinary consequences, including ISS

Counselors Corner
In Lewisville ISD, the whole child is at the core of everything we do as a district, including our students' mental, emotional and physical health. With counselors on every campus, LISD knows parents want their children to receive an outstanding education, but more importantly, they want their children to be nurtured and cared for beyond just academics.
LISD provides families with resources to ensure each child receives the support they need to develop every aspect of their being. Please see the topics and linked resources below:
Should you need more information on the above topics or are in need of support for your child in a different area, please reach out to your counselor.
